The Cedar Rapids Tea party was started by an Idea Tim Pugh had after the loss of moderate republican John McCain. Tim & Jeremy worked on the Ron Paul Campaign locally here in cedar rapids long before it was popular to be fiscally conservative.

The Cedar Rapids Tea Party is a nonpartisan Grassroots effort, made up of people, from all walks of life, living in Cedar Rapids and Linn County, Iowa. We are not backed by special interest lobbyist groups, or receive funding from such groups. We are a group of concerned citizens, working to improve the lives of ALL people of Linn County and Cedar Rapids, though Sound Economic Policies.
