Dinner & a movie just a got a whole lot more expensive for IOWA

A few months ago I sent out an email to all of our candidates who are running for governor asking them if they supported ending the Hollywood transferable tax credit give away. only one candidate responded and did not support ending it at that time. it seems strange to give millions of dollars to make bad movies while the state of Iowa is in a financial crisis and borrowing money from our "savings" account.

well, it looks like another wasted opportunity be the republicans,  at some point they are going to have be at the forefront of these types of issues and not playing catch up !
